1. Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing-Vietnam National University

The Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing program is one of the first two training programs in Vietnam which have been accredited and recognized by CPA Australia. The program is built on the basis of the Accounting, Analyzing and Auditing program of the General Tambov State Technical University (Russia) and the Accounting and Finance program of the University of East London (UK) and HELP University (Malaysia). 

Besides theoretical subjects in accounting and finance, students will practice using accounting and auditing software applied widely in Vietnam and abroad. After graduation, students are accredited by the Association of Certified Public Accountants of Australia (CPA Australia) to be exempted from 6 basic subjects in the exam to acquire CPA Australia’s accounting certificate

2. Automation and Automatics

The Automation and Automatics program is the first Engineering program at VNU-IS. This program was built on the program of the Faculty of Control Systems and Information Technology in Industry of the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI). 

This gives students the opportunity to gain MAI credit and transfer to study and earn a degree at MAI. Students can choose to follow one of two specialized orientations: (1) Automation or (2) Informatics. With the orientation of Automation, students will be equipped with in-depth knowledge as well as professional practice in the field of Automation to be able to meet job requirements upon graduation.

3. Applied Information Technology

This program maximizes practical experiences for students with numerous projects in laboratories as well as in companies during the learning process. Students will choose one of the two directions to study: (1) Digital Security or (2) Embedded systems and IoT. 

The content of the program includes conceptual knowledge of science, technology, engineering and real projects. The program also focuses on training skills in entrepreneurship, innovation, management, and personal development, helping students to be able to work in highly interdisciplinary, creative, and innovative projects; as well as cultivate basic skills to help students succeed in life such as the ability to socialize, work in groups; the ability to apply knowledge, skills, and experience to solve basic situations arising in life as well as in intensive study and research. Another special feature is that the program also focuses on training students with good English proficiency, able to communicate and work with foreign experts and colleagues in a highly internationalized environment. 

This program is combined with a master’s degree in Applied Information Technology. Students who have accumulated 145 credits from this program will only need to study for an extra year to obtain a master’s degree.

4. Business Data Analytics 

The Business Data Analytics program was developed based on the framework of Business Data Analytics program of Arizona State University (USA), with 3 specialized knowledge groups including developing analytical models, financial data analysis or marketing data analysis. 

Skills and knowledge taught in this program meet the requirements of the 4.0 era while equipping learners with the capabilities to handle big data and make optimal business decisions. From the 3rd year, students have the opportunity to transfer to Deakin University (Australia).
