Visitors don’t need to take a boat out to sea; they can view the coral reefs when the tide recedes. According to locals, the tide only recedes in the afternoon during the first or middle days of the lunar month. Each low tide usually lasts 2-3 days, revealing jagged rock formations and a dreamy golden sandy beach.

10. Vuc Hom Waterfall

Located in Vĩnh Xuân village, An Lĩnh commune, Tuy An district, is about 45 km from Tuy Hòa City. This waterfall is set among basalt columns formed naturally, similar to the Ganh Da Dia in Phu Yen, earning it the nickname “Ganh Da Dia on Land.” The journey to the waterfall is challenging, but the breathtaking scenery at the destination is worth the effort. The waterfall cascades from a height of 20 meters into a wide, cool pool, surrounded by lush forest foliage.

11. Vân Hòa Plateau

Vân Hòa Plateau, a fertile highland of red basalt soil, is located in the communes of Sơn Định, Sơn Long, and Sơn Xuân in Sơn Hòa district and part of Tuy An district, about 40 km from Tuy Hòa City. Often likened to the “Da Lat of Phu Yen” due to its elevation of 400 meters, it enjoys a cool climate, plenty of sunshine and wind, and often misty weather.

The route to Vân Hòa Plateau takes visitors through vast fields of sugarcane, acacia, corn, cassava, and pepper, which is a sight to behold.
